I just assume that every indirect negative comment about a person is about me. That way I don’t live in a state of delusion. Not everyone is going to think I’m as wonderful as I think I am. And that’s perfectly ok. When I take on that negativity I just get stronger and more at peace with myself. I love everyone, but not all of the time. I understand frustrations and annoyances. I’m not hurt that people may dislike me at times. I dislike me at times. But that’s life. Once you’ve handled that negativity, you can really appreciate the positivity.
